SEMESTER HOBIE SAILING

Continue developing your sailing skills using the 16' Hobie Getaway catamaran. This course builds on foundational sailing concepts and emphasizes comfort, confidence, and enjoyment while sailing on the protected waters of Mission Bay. Topics include sailing theory, sail controls, boat handling, safety, right of way, and improving overall sailing efficiency. Students will explore how core sailing concepts apply across different boats while gaining greater independence on the water.
